What to Include
To help us investigate quickly, please include as much of the following as is relevant:
- Brief description of the issue โ what went wrong or what looks incorrect
- URL of the page โ e.g.
inflationmultiplier.com/india/or the homepage calculator - Currency and values used โ if reporting a calculation issue, include the principal, interest rate, inflation rate, and number of years you entered
- Expected vs. actual result โ what you expected the calculator to show, and what it actually showed
If you are reporting a general enquiry rather than a bug, a brief message is fine โ no need to provide technical details.

We aim to respond within a few business days. During busy periods it may take a little longer. We will always reply if your message includes a valid return email address.
Data Corrections
If you believe a World Bank inflation figure shown on this site is incorrect or outdated, please note that this site uses live data fetched directly from the World Bank API at the time of your visit. We do not maintain our own inflation database.
If the figure you see differs from another source, there are a few possible explanations:
- The World Bank data may reflect a different year than you are comparing against (data typically lags by 1โ2 years)
- Different CPI measures exist โ some countries publish multiple CPI series (urban vs. national, for example), and the World Bank uses a specific one
- Some national statistical agencies revise their historical figures, which may not yet be reflected in the World Bank dataset
For full details on how data is sourced and which specific World Bank indicator is used, see the Methodology and Data Sources pages.
