This Privacy Policy explains how InflationMultiplier.com ("this site", "we", "us") handles information when you use this website. It applies to all visitors and users of inflationmultiplier.com.

The short version: this site collects very little data. The calculator runs entirely in your browser, no account is required, and no personal information is collected by us in the course of normal site use.

Data We Collect

We do not collect personal data through normal use of this site. Specifically:

• The inflation calculator runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Your inputs (principal amount, interest rate, years, etc.) are never sent to our servers.
• When inflation data is fetched from the World Bank API, the request is made from your browser directly to the World Bank's servers (api.worldbank.org). Your IP address reaches the World Bank servers, not ours, as part of that API call.
• We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personally identifying information — unless you voluntarily email us at indyragie@gmail.com, in which case your email address is retained only to reply to your message.
• We do not process payments and have no payment or billing data.
• We do not require account registration or login of any kind.

Browser localStorage is used to save two preferences locally on your device:

• Your selected colour theme (dark or light mode)
• Your most recently selected currency

This data is stored only in your browser and never transmitted to any server. It has no expiry and remains until you clear your browser storage.

Google Analytics and Advertising

This site uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google AdSense is operated by Google LLC. Google may use cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
